Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

     Gain a clear understanding of functional and non-functional application security requirements.

     Seek clarification and raise queries whenever necessary.

Design & Analysis:

     Develop a proof of concept.

     Comprehend the interdependencies between applications/components and design specifications, raising clarifications as needed.

Coding:

     Install and configure Identity and Access Management product components (admin and client).

     Set up and configure data repository products (LDAP) and replication.

     Create or update Directory Information Tree (DIT) object class schema definitions and indexes.

     Modify attribute configuration, search base configuration, and Attribute Access Control (AAC) filters.

     Configure policies, processes, and workflows within the tool to meet customer identification and access requirements.

     Develop custom components/connectors using Java/.NET or other appropriate languages to address specific requirements.

     Timely communicate any concerns or issues regarding work output to the lead.

     Seek periodic reviews from peers/Senior Developers.

     Address code reviews, defects raised during unit testing, and other relevant testing phases.

     Participate in code peer reviews as required.

     Identify potential risks and report them to the Leads, seeking input to resolve identified issues.

     Provide support for component integration.

     Update the traceability matrix for the developed work package.

     Assist during process audit activities.

     Adhere to project processes and tools.

     Follow the Software Configuration Management (SCM) policies set for the project.

Testing:

     Develop unit test cases/suites.

     Perform unit testing, log results, and share defect details.

Documentation:

     Develop Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) artifacts based on the customer's SDLC process.

Change Management:

     Create build and deployment instructions.

     Raise change requests.

Deployment:

     Develop scripts for build and deployment automation.

     Prepare deployment instructions.

Defect Management:

     Address code review comments.

     Resolve defects identified during testing.

Coaching & Facilitating:

     Provide basic-level training on technologies/products used in the project to entry-level trainees.

Process Improvements and Adherence:

     Develop accelerators to enhance efficiency and productivity.

     Identify pain points/gaps in the process and suggest improvements.

Knowledge Management:

     Contribute to updating knowledge assets such as user manuals, online help documents, and installation manuals/scripts.

     Utilize and contribute to the search and reuse of various types of assets from the repository.

Solution Design & Development:

     Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) for solution design realization.

     Create a System Design document based on the solution architecture proposed by Leads.
