Our team

Our team is the Data & Analytics function for Danske Bank working with each of the businesses to accelerate the adoption of data and utilise analytics and data science to enhance our products and services to our clients. The Data & Analytics team consists of Data Management, Data Platform, Data Transformation, Analytics Centre of Excellence, Data Programme delivery, Business Intelligence and Data Governance.

Data & Analytics is one of the central enablers identified as a priority by Danske Bank’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT) with significant mandate and support.

Your areas of responsibility

As Head of Strategy & Innovation, you will be responsible for the development and roll out of our data strategy working closely with the CDO and Head of Data Transformation . You will also be involved in data literacy and data & analytics adoption across the enterprise

Importantly, this person will support the CDO and Head of Data Transformation in developing and rolling out a data strategy across Danske bank. You will work in partnership with the Data Transformation team (as co-owners) to develop and roll-out the data strategy including adoption.

The other part of this role is to bring innovation and the latest developments in Data, Analytics, including machine learning, etc to Danske Bank.

In this position, you will bring technical leadership and rigour to our data function, enabling us to produce and manage robust data strategy to be used across the firm. We find it important that you value feedback, received as well as given as a way for you and the members to grow and learn. The ideal candidates possess the following qualifications: Extensive experience in developing and rolling out data strategy for multiple organisations (especially in Financial Services) Extensive experience in innovation and establishing and running innovation and POC’s with the latest data & analytics solutions  Experienced data leader & technologist with a minimum of 15 years of work experience in the arena Proven experience in delivery of Data & Analytics use cases in a banking context You have a strong innovation mindset and have worked with leading technologies including establishing Data Labs and Sandboxes to operationalise big data
